The booths
High backs, low light, tables set well apart. Lean in, and what you say goes no further than the two of you.

Some conversations do not belong in an office. Have them here instead, over a long dinner: a private booth, low light, and a room that never raises its voice.
Private
high-backed booths and rooms with a door that shuts
No photos
phones down. it is the whole house rule
By name
known to the staff, never announced to the room
Off record
what is said at the table stays there
The kind of conversation that shapes a company, had over dinner instead of across a boardroom table. Candid, unhurried, and no one at the next table listening in.
High backs, low light, tables set well apart. Lean in, and what you say goes no further than the two of you.
A private room with the door shut. Book it and the evening is yours, with no passing traffic and no next table.
Staff you will barely notice. They will know you by name by the second visit, and never say it across the room.
Phones down. Photography is discouraged at the table and banned in the private rooms. That is the whole rulebook.
The hearth, kept lit
Small party, closed door, courses that take as long as the conversation does. Celebrations happen quietly here. Negotiations, more quietly still.
